Our mission is;

To help single frum men and women find their zivugim within the guidelines of Halachah and to be well prepared for marriage.

What we do;

Matchmaking – via our growing database and networking through our own ‘in house’ Shadchanim.
‘L’chaim meetings - We run organize and follow up on– in association with L’chaim International’; currently we are averaging 10 meetings a month
Personal development/ ‘packaging’ for singles – both physical and emotional support. From clothing advice to helping singles to prioritise wants and needs
Mentoring/Education – from one to one guidance for singles through to training mentors to help facilitate Shidduchim
Hospitality – everything possible within reason to help singles who come from abroad to date our singles, we offer accommodation and suggestions of where to go on the date etc…
Mishmeres; a Shmiras Halshon rota, covering several people every hour of the day in the zchuss for a single person. The names are changed every two weeks.
Singles events run under the auspices of Halachahic supervision with trained facilitators.

Made In Heaven primarily aims to

Continue to supply high-quality, personal ‘shiduch-making’ advice, services and events (that were previously provided on an ad hoc basis)
Empower facilitators and mentors
Educate the community about singles issues

As a secondary objective, Made in Heaven (MIH) intends to establish itself as hub for and with other shiduch-making teams/organisations to co-opt with others and join forces wherever practical. MIH aspires to be a network for networks as well as a direct ‘provider’ for shiduchim today.

The Made in Heaven name was chosen to reflect the beliefs of the founders and team members. We humbly feel that we are agents of Hashem and as such, do not seek credit for making matches. MIH is equally satisfied when seeing a shidduch happen, whether through playing a minor or major role. A sensitive and practical mindset is utilised to look at every case as individual and with potential for success. The ‘whose shidduch is it’ question is not a motivating factor. However we do have tremendous running costs and we appreciate Hakaras Hatov in the form of donations.

About MADE IN HEAVEN

How did it start?
In July 2004, Mrs Estee Stimler brought Mrs Beverly Gross of Monsey, New York to London to introduce her organization called L’chaim international to the UK market. Rebbetzin Joanne Dove arranged the venue and Mrs Gross spoke to a packed audience of several hundred women. Rebbetzin Dove and Mrs Rochelle Brenig, sensing much community interest approached Mrs Stimler and so Made in Heaven non profit Shidduch office was born.

The Made in Heaven Primary Team

Rebbetzin Joanne Dove;
Joanne is a Jewish celebrity in the UK. Originally from South Africa, she is a dynamic SEED torch bearer, a Kallah teacher, Dating mentor, and is an incredibly successful Shadchan. She has been the subject of a series of articles written by Rebbetzin Tzipporah Heller for Hamodia. She has been written up in the Mishpacha magazine twice; once under ‘Daughters of the King’ and once in article talking about dating mentors. She has been interviewed on the BBC and covered at length in The Sunday Times in an article on the subject of Jewish matchmaking.
Mrs. Myriam Flax;
Myriam is the engine that keeps Made in Heaven running. She mans the phones and meets with singles and enters their details in the Made in Heaven database. She also meets with other Shadchanim in London and follows up on the L’chaim meetings. Her warmth and lovely personality ensure that every single feels cared for and special.
Estee Stimler;
Estee is the project coordinator and volunteer fundraiser. She is also a City and Guilds qualified professional photographer and takes complimentary photos for any single registered with Made in Heaven. The photos are not meant to be seen by the other singles; rather they are there to help us put faces to the names, thereby expediting the matchmaking process. She is also the author of The Frum Rules; (published by Targum Press) a girls guide for Shidduchim as well as the Shidduch columnist for Horizon Magazine.

Mrs. Rochelle Brenig;
Rochelle is a native Londoner and also a well known successful Shadchante. She is also extremely professional both in her suggestions and follow ups.
